SOLIHULL band 2 Weeks Notice rocked The Kings Memorial Hall in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The cover-band took to the stage in Hockley Heath and raised a whopping £1,000 for the charity close to their hearts.
Band member Luke Basnett said: “Every member of our band has been affected by someone close to them having cancer and to make it closer to our hearts our longstanding keyboard player (who is also my Dad) has battled away with the disease for the best part of nine years now and is currently going through chemotherapy and only had a session two days before the event.
“He still managed to put on a show and was great to see him in full swing doing what he loves best, taking his mind off what he’s been going through.”
The band will also be taking to the stage at Solihull Summer Fest 2017 over the August Bank Holiday weekend to support Help Harry Help Others.
The band are also planning a 2018 charity event to hopefully keep the momentum going.
