A SOLIHULL author is set to join Shirley Library Reading Group to discuss her debut novel.
Anna Byk will be in conversation with the group about It’s Never Really Over on January 31 at Shirley Library.
From 2.30pm she will discuss the book’s female characters, their challenges, as well as the themes within the novel.
It’s Never Reall Over is set in and around the Warwickshire-Solihull borders, the novel focuses on five women, with a chapter dedicated to each one.
The women range from mid-thirties to seventies in age and each describe what has happened and what could have been – the lost lovers, fortunes, failures, and missed opportunities.
Their stories show how fate pushes you to where you need to be, whether you like it or not, and how, when it comes to certain aspects of their lives, it’s never really over.
The event will also include a question and answer session.
