A SOLIHULL author is set to mark International Women’s Day at Shirley Library.
Anna Byk will be in conversation with the team about It’s Never Really Over on March 7.
From 10.30am until 11.30am she will discuss the book’s female characters, their challenges, as well as the themes within the novel.
It’s Never Really Over is set in and around the Warwickshire-Solihull borders, the novel focuses on five women, with a chapter dedicated to each one.
The women range from mid-thirties to seventies in age and each describe what has happened and what could have been – the lost lovers, fortunes, failures, and missed opportunities.
Their stories show how fate pushes you to where you need to be, whether you like it or not, and how, when it comes to certain aspects of their lives, it’s never really over.
The free event will also include a question and answer session.
