SMALL businesses in Knowle enjoyed a boost in the national spotlight when the Small Business Saturday roadshow pulled into town.
Marking ten years of the campaign in the UK, Small Business Saturday’s Tour toured the village to highlight stories to and help with the mounting challenges they face over the winter.
Children’s store Howela, and zero waste shop Ella’s Earth were featured alongside a Small Business Happy Hour on Instagram with giveaways from All About The Sew.
Michelle Ovens, director of Small Business Saturday, said: “We were so delighted to visit Knowle and celebrate all the fantastic businesses in the area.
“Small businesses are in the midst of an incredibly tough period so it was great to highlight the amazing contribution they make to the local area.”
Small Business Saturday celebrates small businesses and encourages residents to ‘shop local’ and to support businesses in their communities.
BT Skills for Tomorrow has supported The Tour which is visiting 23 towns and cities across the UK during November, as part of the official count down to Small Business Saturday on December 3.
