SILHILLIANS are being called upon to put their best foot forward in the name of charity and join the first Marie Curie Daffodil Walk.

Walkers of all ages can take part in the two or four mile sponsored walk around Brueton Park on Sunday (April 14) to raise funds for the Marsh Lane hospice.

The walk can be completed anytime between 10am and 4pm and there will be a get together in the Hospice café afterwards where there will also be a raffle.

Registration will be open at 9.30am on the day but there will only be a limited number of spaces available.

Adults cost £5 and children cost £2. There is a family ticket of five available at £10.
