SILHILLIANS are being called on to put their best foot forward and help tackle youth homelessness next weekend.
St Basils is calling on residents to sign up to its annual Hike For Homeless, which is set to take place in the picturesque Abergavenny area of Wales on June 8.
Barrie Hodge, head of fundraising and communications at St Basils, said: “The Hike for Homeless is a wonderful way to explore the stunning landscapes of Wales while supporting young people in need.
“It’s more than just a hike; it’s about coming together as a community to make a real difference.
“There are three different routes, so we cater to every hiker, novice to experienced. We encourage everyone to sign up and join us for an unforgettable experience.”
The charity is a dedicated youth homelessness charity in the West Midlands with several accommodation and support projects, including those in Central Birmingham, Solihull and Warwickshire.
