Silhillian organises family day out for Ukrainian refugees

A SOLIHULL resident has organised a family day out for Ukrainian refugees living in the borough.

Kathleen O’Hara is hosting a Ukrainian family at her home, and wanted to do something to connect other families in the area.

Through the generosity of her family and friends, she has raised enough money to be able to arrange several day trips.

Kathleen said: “Johnsons Coaches have very kindly and generously offered a free coach for our first trip this weekend.

“We plan to visit Attwell Farm in Redditch, who have very kindly provided discounted tickets.”

The trip takes place tomorrow (Saturday August 20th) and will be taking around 60 people.

Contact Kathleen O’Hara on [email protected] for more information about future trips.
