THE SUN played its part as pupils and teachers celebrated the Queen’s Platinum jubilee.
Kingswood School in Shirley was a wave of red, white and blue as the whole school headed onto the playground for afternoon tea followed by games and dancing.
Some of the children played guitar and ukulele with Mr Watson and there was singing with Mrs Watson.
All the children were treated to ice cream from an ice cream van that arrived in the playground, to finish off their day.
