A SHIRLEY care home has welcomed a new general manager.
Zara Friend will oversee the running of Fountains care home, prior to starting in this position Zara Friend was the deputy manager of the home.
Zara said: “I am delighted to lead the team here at Fountains, and I am so proud of being accepting for this promotion.
“I will continue to promote a positive and safe home for our residents. I’m looking forward to managing this home and continuing to provide high quality care.”
Clare Mudge the regional operations director for Fountains Care Home said: “I am very pleased to see Zara in this new professional role here at Fountains care home. We are committed to providing high quality care and I really think Zara will be a big hit with our residents and their loved ones.”
