A SHIRLEY businesses has partnered with the Turing Trust, a charitable organisation that provides quality IT resources and training to schools in sub-Saharan Africa.

McCann Central donated 212 pieces of IT equipment and machines, including iMacs, Macbook Pros, and Elitebooks.

The Turing Trust will now be able to distribute important equipment to schools and educational institutions in Africa, where access to technology is often limited.

This means that 3,816 students will be able to learn vital IT skills thanks to the donation.

Anil Mangal, head of IT at McCann central said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Turing Trust. Driving real positive change, we are incredibly proud that our donation will provide thousands of students with access to technology and educational opportunities, which will help to contribute to the Trust’s mission of promoting digital inclusion and education in Africa.

Noah van der Linde, donations manager at The Turing Trust added: “We are so grateful to McCann Central for its generous donation.

“This support will enable us to expand our reach and provide even more students with the tools they need to succeed.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to the team for joining us on our mission to bridge the digital divide.”
