A SERIOUS crash involving three cars in Castle Bromwich has left a man severely injured.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police were alerted by ambulance colleagues at 8.25am to a serious three-car collision on the Collector Road near the junction with Lanchester Way in Castle Bromwich.
“It’s understood that a blue Peugeot 207 turning onto the Collector Road was struck by at least one car; the male driver has suffered a serious head injury. No other serious injuries have been reported.
“The drivers of all vehicles involved stopped at the scene and are being spoken to by officers.
“Collector Road has been closed into Birmingham while enquiries continue and to recover debris from the carriageway.
“Any witnesses are urged to call WMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 and quote log 411 from 11 Jan.”
