POLICE are appealing for information to help trace a man who has been missing from a care home for almost a week.

Thomas Foley was last seen by staff at a care home on Lode Lane in Solihull on Wednesday, January 7.

It is believed that the 31-year-old left the home to visit Birmingham city centre and failed to return.

Thomas is known to frequent the Olton area but has previously lived in Sheldon and Stechford.

Police are appealing for people who may know Thomas’s whereabouts to call them with information.

He is as white, around 5ft 10″ tall with blond straight hair and has tattoos on both arms.

Inspector Heidi Bell said: “We are really keen to speak to anyone who has seen Tom or who can tell us where he is.

“He is not in any trouble but has been reported missing by the home and we now need to ensure that he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information should call West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
