Runners called on to don Father Christmas outfits and raise funds for Marie Curie

IT IS NEARLY time of year for runners to dress up in Santa Suits and sprint (or jog) around Meriden Hall.

Registration is now open for this year’s Meriden Santa Fun Run on Sunday December 1 to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care and other Rotary supported charities

The four-mile family-friendly event, run by Meriden Rotary Club, is now in its eighth year and open to all ages. The Fun Run starts and finishes at Meriden Hall from 11am taking in the new Sports Grounds. Last December it raised £3,000 for charity.

Parking at Meriden Hall is limited, but extra car parking will be available at the Strawberry Bank. Bottles of water and tea and coffee will be available on site.

Registration is £12 per adult and £6 for children under 16 years, which includes a Santa suit.

Visit www.meriden-santa-fun-run.org.uk for more information and to register.
