The region’s roads were thrown into chaos this rush hour as police dealt with an incident involving ‘the safety of a man’ who is currently on a bridge ‘ near to junction 16.
The motorway was shut both ways between the M42 and junction 16 for Henley in Arden shortly before 3.15pm.
Roads around Solihull, Knowle, Dorridge, Henley, Warwick and the surrounding areas were all gridlocked for this evening’s rush hour.
