A TEENAGER from Chelmsley has taken part in a restorative justice (RJ) programme after damaging a bus.
The 14-year-old broke a bus window in January.
Instead of a regular sentence, the girl took part in a Victim Awareness Session with a member of National Express West Midlands staff.
She also wrote a letter of apology.
RJ allows young people to understand the consequences of their actions, whilst keeping them out of the justice system, allowing them to modify their future behaviour without record.
