CELEBRATIONS were the order of the day when a recruitment business marked its 60th anniversary.
Pertemps hosted a Mardi Gras themed family fun day in August on the grounds of the company’s headquarters in Meriden Hall.
There were stilt walkers, a mariachi band, piñatas, fairground games, face-painters, dancing girls – and gorillas at the event.
The family fun day was the centrepiece of a three-day party to mark the massive milestone for the business, with an awards ceremony on the Friday and celebratory dinner rounding off proceedings on the Sunday.
During the Sunday event, a bronze bust of company founder Connie Watts was unveiled as her son Tim, now Lifetime President of Pertemps, looked on with his family.
