FINAL preparations are under way for the annual Friends of Solihull Hospital (FOSH) summer fete on Saturday (June 2).

There will be plenty to do and see with a bouncy castle, races, and a number of stalls including a raffle.

Visitors will be entertained from 1pm until 5pm as Birmingham Irish Pipes and Drums, are warming up ready for the fete and dancers, martial arts group and dogs trainers will also be on hand throughout the afternoon.

Each year the fete raises money to help boost funds for the group who buy the hospital much-needed and life-saving equipment.

Liz Steventon, FOSH chairman, said: “The summer fete is one of the highlights of our fundraising calendar.

“It’s really great fun with lots of local entertainment, it is a fabulous day out for everyone and a brilliant way to round of half term.”

Tickets cost £1 for and adults and free for accompanied children, staff and patients.

There is also free onsite parking while at the fete.
