THE Summit Learning Trust is to have a new chief executive from September 2022.
Vince Green will take over the reins from Catherine Anwar who has headed the trust since May 2017.
Vince is currently the education director at Summit.
Birmingham-based Summit includes four primary and three secondary schools – including Lyndon School – and the Sixth Form College, Solihull.
Together they provide an education for around 8,000 children and young people.
Prior to joining Summit Learning Trust in January 2021, Vince was the regional education director and executive principal at a large, national multi-academy trust.
He said: “As CEO, I look forward to working alongside our teams to take Summit Learning Trust to even higher peaks, with the highest of expectations for every learner in our care and have started to plan this with leaders from across our trust, schools, and college.
“I want parents and carers to know that sending their child to a Summit Learning Trust academy means that they are receiving exceptional provision and care, delivered by talented and ambitious educators.”
Catherine said: “I’m delighted that Vince has been successfully appointed as our new CEO.
“His passion, positivity and vision will take our trust on the next successful phase of the journey to deliver an exceptional education to all our learners.”
