THE ALE was in full flow at The Solihull Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) Beer and Cider Festival.
Festival goers were spoilt for choice at the Oliver Bird Hall which brought together a selection of real ales and ciders from independent breweries across the region and beyond.
Dr Neil Shastri-Hurst, Solihull West and Shirley MP, attended the opening day to show his support for Solihull CAMRA and the vital role independent brewers play in the local economy and cultural life.
Dr Shastri-Hurst said: “As a supporter of CAMRA and of real ales, I was delighted to meet with volunteers and organisers to hear more about their important work promoting traditional brewing, protecting pubs, and supporting local communities.
“Events like this not only showcase the best of British brewing but also highlight the importance of sustaining the independent hospitality sector, which remains a cornerstone of our local and national identity.”
