KNOWLE came together to celebrate the King’s coronation over the weekend.
There was a sea of red white and blue as residents put on their finery and painted their faces in honour of His Majesty – even pets got in on the act too.
The High Street came alive with singing, dancing, artisan stalls and other activities.
Visit Knowle said on Facebook: “We were absolutely blown away with the fabulous turnout for the Coronation Celebrations in Knowle.
“Thank you to everyone who came to support the village, who hosted a stall, who supplied scrumptious food, entertained on stage, hosted fun activities and who volunteered their time.
“Thanks to our wonderful sponsors who helped make today happen. “
Observer photographer Marcus Mingins was on hand to capture a slice of the action.
