Whilst their John was reminiscing about his days in the Navy identifying the different destinations he could see on the retro posters.

Staff at the home were delighted to see John light up when he knew he was visiting local train station, as they knew how much it meant to him and they all wanted to be there to see the smile on johns face when his visited the restored waiting room.

Kim Dean, general manager at the home, said: “It was wonderful to see how happy John was – and the staff loved being a part of this as well.”
