A YARDLEY school welcomed visitors for a special Christmas party.

Year 10 Learners from Cockshut Hill School planned and delivered a complex Christmas meal forover 30 visitors, school staff and fellow pupils.

Brian Miles, a long-standing attendee and spokesperson for the guests, said: “I was blown away by the complexity and quality of the buffet. The learners engaged with us so warmly and served like true professionals—it was an absolute joy to experience.”

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the school choir entertained guests with a selection of seasonal favourites under the direction of Performing Arts teacher Miss Crutchley.

Their performance brought smiles and sing-alongs, creating a truly magical community moment.

Among the talented learners were Roxy and Porscha, both in Year 10, who played a key role in creating the festive delights.

Roxy said: “It was exciting to put our skills into practice and see everyone enjoying what we made.”

Principal of Cockshut Hill School, Jody Clarke, praised the learners’ efforts: “This event reflects the heart of Cockshut Hill School—community, creativity, and excellence. Our Year 10 learners demonstrated not only technical skill but also professionalism and care. We couldn’t be prouder.”
