Pupils donate items to food bank

Solihull Editorial 25th Feb, 2019   0

KIND-HEARTED pupils at St Martins School donated much-needed items to a food bank.

During a week the school devoted to wellbeing, families from Saint Martin’s collected an abundance of non-perishable food and toiletry items to the well deserving Clifton Road Food Bank in Balsall Heath.

Clifton Road Food Bank opened its doors in June 2017, to address some of the difficulties of those living in the area.

A spokesperson for the Clifton Road Food Bank said: “On behalf of all our volunteers and members, we would like to extend a huge thank you to St Martin’s School for the generous donations and all the support that have been provided to the Clifton Road Food Bank.

“Our guests are forever grateful for all the food that is available to them.”
