Solihull Editorial 6th Mar, 2018   0

LITERATURE-LOVING pupils at Solihull School were brought to book.

They dressed up as their favourite characters as part of World Book Day, the worldwide celebration of reading, on March 1.

Among those who made an appearance at Solihull School were Mary Poppins, Paddington Bear, and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.

Teachers also donned black and white outfits, wigs and costumes to dress up as characters from 101 Dalmatians, including the wicked Cruella de Vil.

Junior school headmaster Mark Penny said: “It’s always a pleasure to see the pupils show their passion for reading in such a fun and creative way.”
