Pub grub set to give Macmillan Cancer Support a welcome boost

Solihull Editorial 1st Sep, 2021   0

FARMHOUSE Inns has launched a limited-edition Seaside Stack Burger with £1 from each dish sold going to its national charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Available at all Farmhouse Inns nationwide, including the Hillfield Farm in Solihull and the Manor Farm in Castle Bromwich, the Seaside Stack Burger includes beer-battered fish, special Seafront Wedges, curry sauce, mushy peas and tartare sauce, all stacked inside a floured bap.

And it doesn’t stop there – the burger is also topped with a battered sausage and added battered pickled onions to complete the iconic flavours of the seaside in landlocked Solihull.

Emma Smith, of Farmhouse Inns, said: “We’re excited to offer our limited-edition Seaside Stack Burger so our customers can enjoy a taste of the coast come rain or shine and know they have supported an important cause.”

Rachel Gascoigne, senior partnerships manager at Macmillan Cancer Support, said: “Our partnership with Greene King is so successful and our sincere thanks go to their customers and team members.

“We are almost entirely reliant on the generosity of our partners and the public and are grateful to Farmhouse Inns for their kind donation on every Seaside Stack Burger and Seafront Wedges. The funds raised will make a huge difference.”

The Seaside Stack Burger and Seafront Wedges are available only until Sunday, October 3.

A pescatarian option is available for the burger and both dishes can be enjoyed in a pub or through Click and Collect.
