FLOWERS, PLANT POTS and foliage will decorate St Peter’s Church Hall on Saturday (July 23) as part of the Balsall and District Horticultural Society Annual Flower Show.

The flower show – now in its 68th year – hopes to bigger, brighter and more blooming than ever before.

Green-fingered members will have the opportunity to go head to head in flower arranging, vegetable growing and arts and crafts competitions.

They will also be able to get their hands on hand-crafted planted containers in the flower show raffle.

Pupils from Balsall Common Primary will be showing off their competitive streaks and will have their weather-themed artwork judged on the day.

The event will be held in St Peter’s Church Hall, Holly Lane, Balsall Common.

Doors will open at 2.00pm and admission is by donation.
