Police want to speak to men after attempted Lode Lane break in

Solihull Editorial 8th Jan, 2018   0

POLICE are appealing for information after an attempted break in at a house on Lode Lane which was caught on CCTV.

A white man approached the front door of the Solihull house around 7.55pm on December 19, rang the doorbell, then left.

West Midlands Police believe he was checking whether or not anyone was at home.

A short time later a blue Volvo 4×4 reversed onto the drive.

Two men got out and used a tool to smash a porch window, but fled before getting inside.

Enquiries are on-going into the Volvo’s owner as the full registration plate cannot be seen clearly from this CCTV.

Anyone with information should contact DC Kate Fitzgerald on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote crime number 20SH/2740068/17
