Police re-appeal for information over Solihull town centre fight one year on

Solihull Editorial 29th Jan, 2018 Updated: 29th Jan, 2018   0

SOLIHULL Police have released a new image of a man they want to speak with over a large scale disorder in the town centre this time last year.

The disorder took place on January 21, 2017 between 3.10am and 3.25am.

Around 15 to 20 people were fighting and others who tried to intervene were subsequently assaulted themselves, including a young woman needed hospital treatment for facial injuries.

An appeal launched at the time was met with great success and the majority of those involved have now been spoken to by police.

However despite extensive enquiries the identity of the main suspect – believed responsible for attacking two women – remains a mystery and officers are keen to discover who he is.

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting crime number 20SH/34363L/17 or contact 101.
