Solihull Editorial 18th Sep, 2023   0

POLICE continue to appeal for information after a man was allegedly stabbed in Smith’s Wood last month.

West Midlands Police say the 18-year-old was found with serious injuries in Burton’s Way just before 1.40pm on August 24.

He continues to recover from his injuries.

The force says it is keen to hear from anyone who was in the Shard End area between 7.30am and 2pm, in particular Shard End Crescent, Packington Avenue, Lea Ford Road and Hurst Lane to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Francis Nock, from the Major Crime Team, said: “If you have any information, no matter how small it is, please get in touch. It could make all the difference to our investigation.”

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage should contact police on 101 or via the Live Chat on the force’s website and quote log 2411 of August 24.

A special online portal for people to send information to police including mobile phone footage has been created here.
