POLICE are investigating reports of a man being stabbed in the neck with a bottle in Solihull town centre.
Parts of the central area were this morning reported to be congested and cordoned off.
West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating reports of a stabbing in High Street, Solihull at just before 2.15am this morning (Friday 28 February).
“A 39-year-old man suffered a wound to his neck from a bottle and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
“As part of our investigations we are collecting CCTV footage and police cordons are in place in the area.
