Police name wanted man behind murder of Kenichi Phillips

POLICE have named a key suspect wanted in connection with the murder of Kenichi Phillips.

He is 36-year-old Isaiah Wright-Young of no fixed address from the Birmingham area.

The public are urged not to approach Wright-Young if seen but to call 999 immediately.

Detective Inspector Jim Munro, from Force CID, said: “Two people have been charged in relation to the shooting of Kenichi Phillips on March 17 but this investigation is still very active.




“It’s important we locate Isaiah Wright-Young as soon as possible and I would urge anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact us.”

Anyone with information should call Police 101, or to pass urgent information call 999, alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
