POLICE in Solihull say they have returned to rescue more distressed cats from a house in Barston.

On August 12, officers in the Knowle, Dorridge and Balsall Common neighbourhood team collected three kittens left in a cardboard box.

And yesterday (August 27), a police crew returned along with RSPCA inspectors to find six more cats in need of rescuing.

A statement by West Midlands Police said: “We have made a further visit to an address in Barston where we seized three kittens with mum previously.

“We visited alongside RSPCA officers and have today safeguarded a further six cats, with more to be collected soon.”
