Police launch hunt for petrol station robbery duo

POLICE have released CCTV images of two men following a robbery at a Solihull petrol station.

The incident, which took place at BP petrol station on High Street, Solihull Lodge, Shirley at 10.50pm on Thursday, September 3 saw two men enter the petrol station and ask the cashier for a packet of paracetamol.

When the cashier opened the till, they reached over and grabbed a large amount of money, injuring the cashier’s hand in the process.

One man was described as white, bald headed, clean shaven, with a slim build and aged between 30 and 40.




The second man, who was wearing a baseball cap, is aged around 30, had a medium build and short dark hair and dark stubble.

The men left the petrol station in a green Subaru Impreza which was believed to have stolen registration plates.
