Police launch appeal after Forest Road carjacking in Dorridge

POLICE investigations are underway following a carjacking in Dorridge.

West Midlands Police said officers were called to an incident on Forest Road at 3.15pm on June 14.

A spokesperson added: “A driver was parking her BMW Mini when a man and woman approached the driver’s door.

“The driver was pulled to the floor by the man before making off in the victim’s car.

“The woman ran off but was detained nearby and arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle.

“The 38-year-old was later released under investigation.”
