POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a collision after a girl was seriously injured in Solihull.
Yesterday afternoon (Thursday December 7), West Midlands Police officers were called to Hobs Moat Road just before 3.50pm following reports that an Audi A4 had hit a pedestrian on the carriageway.
A 12-year-old girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries.
The road was closed at the junction with Old Lode Lane for around three and a half hours for investigations to be carried out.
