POLICE appeal for information after four men allegedly attempted to steal a car using an electronic device in Castle Bromwich.

The suspects smashed the window of a black Audi Q5 parked on a drive in Lyndon Close on June 13 at around 5.10am.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “They spent 25 minutes using a device to try to start the car without keys, before giving up and leaving empty-handed.

“We are now releasing CCTV that captures one of the suspects holding the electronic device.

“We really need to identify this man after the attempted theft in Castle Bromwich.

“Do you recognise him? Have you got any information about what happened? If so, the investigation team would like to hear from you.

“If you recognise the man in this footage, call 101 or @CrimestoppersUK.
