Solihull Editorial 8th Apr, 2021   0

WEST Midlands Police have arrested two people on suspicion of murder after a man was discovered dead at an address in Hall Green.

The body of a 56-year-old man was found at a property off the Stratford Road on Friday evening, April 2.

The cause of death was initially unclear but a post mortem examination has now revealed he died as a result of a stab wound.

Following this a 42-year-old man, and woman aged 37, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

They remain in police custody for questioning.

Police say they are keen to hear from anyone who was passing through the Stratford Road and York Road area and may have seen anybody, or has dash cam or other footage, which captures anyone acting suspiciously either on the day or in the days beforehand.

The man was discovered dead at around 6pm and anyone with information is asked to contact us via Live Chat, or by calling 101, and quote log 3310 of 2 April. Alternatively, ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
