Plea for Girl Guide volunteers to help across the borough

GIRLGUIDING Warwickshire has sent out an urgent plea to any would be volunteers to help girls across the borough to grow in confidence and discover their potential.

There will be a Meet and Greet event on Wednesday, July 8, in a bid to get more people involved with Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in Solihull.

Anyone interested in volunteering is invited to go along to Costa Coffee on Forest Court in Dorridge, between 7pm and 8.30pm to find out more.

By giving just one or two hours a week, volunteers can help girls and young women to enjoy a wide range of exciting activities, as well as

acquire new skills and experiences – and have fun at the same time.

The event is being run thanks to a generous boost of £150,000 from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery – which supports charities and good causes across Great Britain and globally.
