SPORTS teams at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre can play on as the astro pitch is open and ready to use.
The pitch, which opened last month, has been revamped to include a new pitch, LED lights, goals and equipment and new security fencing.
Regular users of the pitch have been notified so that they can start to use it again.
Tudor Grange Leisure Centre – including outdoor sports areas – is run by Everyone Active in partnership with Solihull Council.
Cabinet member for Communities and Leisure, Councillor Diane Howell said: “The original pitch was constructed 25 years ago and then redeveloped in 2009.
“It was therefore in need of a complete refurbishment and I’m very impressed with its new look.
“And what a great time to have new and inviting facilities in the borough, following the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and the triumph of the Lionesses at the UEFA European Football Championship this summer.
“I hope residents are feeling inspired to get active and perhaps take up a new sport.”
