Play equipment stolen from Babbs Mill Park after string of Solihull metal thefts

Solihull Editorial 22nd Mar, 2019   0

PLAY EQUIPMENT has been stolen from Babbs Mill Park during a string of metal thefts across the borough.

Over the past six weeks Solihull Council says 11 litter bins have also been taken from Tudor Grange Park, and four dog bins have been taken from Hillfield Park.

The Council suspects that these items have been targeted by scrap metal thieves and is asking residents to be vigilant and help the police to catch the criminals.

The cost of replacing all of this will be over £15,000.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
