THE Easter bank holiday was celebrated as Berkswell Windmill opened its doors for the first time this year.
There was plenty on offer at the historic mill, including tours with Ray Martin who explained how the windmill would have worked when it was fully operational.
Children were given the chance to have a go at making flour on the mini mill-stone.
Windmill owner Jeanette McGarry was on hand as the open day got underway and there were the usual cream tea and scones on the lawn.
Observer photographer Jon Mullis was on hand to capture the day.
