SILHILLIANS are being invited to the Meriden MP’s first Pensioners Fair.
Saqib Bhatti MP, will be joined by solicitors’ firms, care homes, assisted living providers, and several charities and community groups at Knowle Village Hall on February 16 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
The Fair aims to provide information about all the local opportunities for the elderly community so that more people have access to the full range of services available.
All the money raised by the Pensioners Fair has been donated to Age UK Solihull, which offers a number of services to the elderly across Solihull from befriending services to groups.
Mr Bahtti said: “I am thrilled to be bringing my first Pensioners Fair to the Meriden constituency. I am hoping that this event will bring people in the community together and provide support for those who need it.”
“We have a great list of exhibitors who will be providing information on the services they provide and will be available for a chat on the day. Come and join us, have a
chat, and pick up some information on some really exciting opportunities.”
