SILIHILLIANS who are looking for a break in the creative sector are being invited the free annual Creative Careers Conference next week.
Young people and emerging professionals can find out more about life working in film, TV, music, performance, literature, visual arts, or arts management at The Core on Friday, February 7 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
There will be a panel of professionals from across the arts sector (including an Olivier Award winner!) who will be sharing their stories, advice, tips and tricks for thriving in the creative world.
The panel will be chaired by Louise Katerega, independent dance artist and arts consultant, and will include Ruth Millington, art historian, curator and author; Anthony Ekundayo-Lennon, theatre director and dramaturg; Kamaljit Suman, director of Art At The Heart; Caroline Officer, TV executive and educator, and Sophie Humphries engagement producer at FABRIC.
There will also be performances by Anthony Ekundayo-Lennon, Black Train Music and Emily Holtom.
