TWO MEN have been arrested after a knife was seized in Yardley.
West Midlands Police said Guardian Taskforce officers were patrolling on Tuesday, March 10, where two men reacted to their presence and tried to run away.
The force said: “Following a short foot chase, the two were detained near Oaklands Recreation Ground.
“After searches were carried out, a flick knife was found.
“The two men, both aged 18, were arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.”
Project Guardian is a specialist taskforce which tackles knife crime and youth violence.
