OPTICIANS in Solihull and Shirley are continuing their road safety campaign by donating some 700 high visibility vests to local schools.
To keep children safe in the darker months, Specsavers stores in Solihull and Shirley donated the vests to Our Lady of the Wayside, Blossomfield Primary, Woodlands Infants, Burman Primary, Langley Primary School, Yewtree Primary, Knowle Academy and Katherine Leveson Primary.
Store director Brad Parkes said: “Keeping children visible during these dark days is really important – so hopefully these vests will help as they walk to and from school, or when they are out and about.”
