OLTON library users are being give more time to comment on renovation plans.
The council wants to make the library a more appealing and inviting space for local people, groups and visitors.
Library users an see draft plans for the interior and exterior of Olton Library from Monday (August 19) to Saturday August 31 in the library reception area.
Library staff will be on hand to talk to local people and users about the plans, what the new layout could look like, the furniture and group meeting spaces.
If the plans are supported by local residents and library users an application will be submitted to the Community Infrastructure Levy scheme for consideration in October.
Cabinet member for stronger and safer communities Councillor Alison Rolf said: “There’s still time for local residents to talk to library staff about the new proposals. Come along and find out how you can help shape the look and feel of your local library.”
