Woman, aged 90, has purse stolen in Solihull

AN ELDERLY woman had her purse taken from her handbag in Solihull last month.

A 90-year-old woman was in Solihull town centre when her purse was stolen. A large quantity of cash was later withdrawn from her bank account and attempts were made for online purchases.

Solihull police officers say the theft happened in Solihull town centre at some point between 10.30am and 11.30am on Monday October 28.

They have released security footage of a woman police would like to speak with in relation to their investigation.

Police have appealed to the public to help identify the woman.
