PUPILS and staff at Ninestiles, An Academy gathered to remember the fallen.
The school dedicated a series of assemblies and history lessons to really allow students to examine all the reasons why Remembrance Day was created and why it deserves reverence from them.
For the two-minute silence pupils lined up outside to listen to a reading and hear The Last Post.
Alex Hughes, principal at Ninestiles, An Academy said: “It’s so important that today’s young people understand the sacrifices made by older generations in the name of their country and I am pleased that our students have shown the reverence expected from them today.”
