CHELMSLEY Wood is a summer hot spot thanks to its new wild flower space.
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council planted the colourful arrangements on Winchester Drive to bring life to the streets.
Ben Clifton, a landscape photojournalist from the area decided to capture the beauty through photography.
He said: “The space is beautiful, a great way to bring vibrant colours of summer to the community.
“This is also a great haven for our pollinating insects, it’s already buzzing with bees.”
Chelmsley Wood residents have taken to social media to show their gratitude for the lavenders and poppies.
One mum on Facebook said: “My little boy admires the flowers every single day. He has sensory processing disorder and loves flowers and notices each new one that blooms.”
