New Solihull principals vows to make school the 'bees knees'

A NEW Solihull principal is hoping the school will be the bees knees under his guidance.

Neil Kitching was welcomed to Kineton Green Primary School, part of the Summit Learning Trust, at the start of the academic year.

At the heart of the school are its five key values, known as the Five Bees – being safe and healthy, confident, trustworthy and honest, a lifelong learner, and respectful. These values are embedded in everything the school does, helping children to reach their full potential both academically and personally, a standard the school affectionately calls “the bees’ knees.”

Mr Kitching has said that the school will focus on happiness as the foundation for success and creating an environment where every child feels valued, empowered, and ready to thrive.

Mr Kitching has previously served as headteacher at another local school and has worked across the West Midlands in a range of leadership roles.

He said: “I am delighted to join the Kineton Green community and to be part of such a welcoming and inspiring school. Our focus is on ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and valued, so they can thrive both academically and personally.

“I look forward to working with families and staff to build on the school’s strengths and to continue celebrating achievement and growth at Kineton Green.”

Kineton Green Primary School is holding an open event on October 20 at 6pm and October 21 at 9.10am.
